Espen519If you have a girlfriend who skis, that just means you have I bring her with you and ski stuff with her. Less freedom and in lots of cases, girls who's "ski sometimes" aren't the best so you are stuck doing that. No park hot laps
exactly
Grizzly.ButtahWell she certainly wouldn't be a keeper but yeah I'd date one for a bit
Acceptable answer.
Grizzly.ButtahShe could snowboard I guess..
Unacceptable answer.

That's why the minimum requirement for me dating any girl is that she is willing to huck at least a 3 meter cliff.
*cgski*I dated a girl who didnt ski and when winter came around the relationship didn't last. So it would either have to be a super special girl who didnt ski or a skier, fingers crossed
Jahoe_Stuyvedating a girl who doesn't ski; doesn't usually get that the mountain is more important than her.dating a girl who skis; will come up and ski with you
dating a girl who skis park; very hit or miss... check for a penis in most cases
You both have your priorities straight.
shiftypartyI'd rather have a boyfriend that skis
MinggA boyfriend who skis would be awesome. You wouldn't have to chose between him and skiing so that would be nice.
One of you should be my gf~
guys who ski yes please. one of my exes did not ski and always got pissy when I went to ski every weekend. My other one didn't ski park too much but was a good skier. Definitely fun sharing a passion with someone
ndyeI aint lookin for love, just tryin to get my dick wet

DiabeetoAnd you're probably single on top of that. Why would you limit yourself like that?Yeah it would be cool to have a gf that shreds and that can come out with you once in a while, but having a gf that knows your passion and gives you time to do what you love is arguably better.
Plus, sometimes I need skiing to get away from the real world and if I have a gf who needs to ski with you at all times, it's not a very good escape anymore.
Not single and I actually have a pretty rad girl who skis and was a state champ VT racer. She can also slay the park and everywhere else on the mountain. I wasn't out there looking strictly for a skiing girl, it just so happened that she was a good skier after we started hanging out.
I'm just saying,if you're one of those people that try to limit yourself to only girls who ski, then you need to broaden your horizons a bit.
My wife skis, we used to ski together more, but I like to ski with my friends and she doesn't like to push it that hard, so we usually don't ski together all that much anymore. Which is fine, she doesn't mind, she just gets pissed when I get hammered and don't come home.
i can't ski nearly as well as my bf. i just give him his laps with his buds now and then. sometimes i'll do some laps alone. watch them do park/film/take pics, and on days when no one else rides, it's just us. he goes up with his buds whenever i'm working or can't go. i don't think i would be able to live without it, he's my main ski buddy, so i'd rather date a skier.

My bad that, wasn't directed at you. I was just saying someone only limits themselves to skier girls, then they're probably having a hard time finding dates.
This probably isn't the right forum to say this in, but sometimes there's more to life than skiing. Find a girl who you get along with and enjoy skiing with the homies. If somehow you can wheel both tho, more power to ya.

Why not just ski a lot and go up to girls who shred gnarly lines and stomp big hucks and say 'that was a nice line' and take things from there? Nothing could possibly go wrong.
Hell no i would bore them to death. All i like talking about is skiing.

Maybe someday. For now I'm stuck skiing Minnesota where the girls wear pea coats and sweatpants with their rental gear.
Taught my girl to ski...and by that I mean I skied near her. It didn't suck because a) she skates, so she had a fast learning curve, and b) all she said all day was "I want to go fast," "I want to learn tricks," and "I'll film you if you want."
Worked out great, but I got lucky. IMO I wouldn't want to teach a girlfriend to ski, because teaching skiing requires a lot of comments like "you're doing this wrong," "do this better," "you need to do this," etc, which frustrates women after a while. If your girlfriend doesn't ski but wants to learn, pay for her rental, make sure she has properly fitted equipment, and pay for her lesson while you shred. Then spend an hour cruising with her after her lesson and go have sex.
My wife skis, I doubt she would be so down with living in a ski town if she didn't.
