I have been trying and trying to do this rail trick but I cant push off my front foot hard enough. Any advice?
look over your shoulder look over your shoulder look over your shoulder look over your shoulder
the front 4 only comes around if you can spot your landing- which takes a lot of getting used to.
step 1- continue the rotation on your front 2s, land looking over the shoulder where you would spot the front 4, repeat until it gets comfy
step 2- plug in your earbuds, pick out some flocka, and commit really hard. it will come around first try

I have a bad case of being able to land front (rightside) 4s consistently- almost got front 6. but i can't spin a right 3, at least i can land a right 1 if i'm lucky. the world is a confusing place.

gah, i hate that feeling haha. I still have issues with my regular 3s on skis, they always wobble a little, like a half cork 3. i guess that's okay but I really hate hitting jumps, especially at Hyland where the amount of ice puts the ice coast to shame. there are 20ft long ruts that are basically ice sculptures. but an isolated resort that doesn't groom the landings after 10" of fresh is unbeatable. I get jumps I like 2-4 times a year if I'm lucky.
thanks man, hopefully I can get my rail tall enough to try on my summer setup!
just keep your feet together that is what helped me a ton
Do you know how scissor and lock your front ski onto the edge of the rail? Really makes me spin fast when I do 6s and 8s
