If we're talking about work shoes...
Only if they're on sale. Yes nice shoes, leather is pretty good quality, and pretty durable as some of mine have lasted a while. However, not worth spending full price $250-350 in my opinion when you can get AE's, Ted Bakers, or even Versace shoes for the same price when on sale.
These use to be around 250, recently they started to retail for $185. My black ones are my go to shoes and get more complements than my Cole Haans. Best sub $200 shoes in my opinion you can buy.

And always remember to use a shoe tree (cedar), and get them shined minimim once a week!
It's the details that make the outfit. You can make a $350 suit look like a $1500 suit with proper tailoring. It's tough to make a $40 dollar pair of shoes look like they cost a few hundred and can keep up with that killer suit you have on.
