I have a disgusting bright orange POC helmet that I bought 3 seasons ago, do you think it would be possible to dye it black with the same technique used to dye full tilts?
If its bright orange, it might not be completely black but come out some gross brownish color. I'd say try it and if it doesn't work, buy a black one.
just take out all the foam cushion pieces and go for it
i doubt it will ruin the protection or make the helmet less safe if u do lol
go for it
would you be putting the shell in boiling water? personally i wouldn't modify something so important but I'm not sure what will actually happen and at the end of the day it is your decision.
I'm pretty sure as long as the color is darker it can work and black almost always works. Here's the best tutorial on NS for using RIT dye.
Paint, dye, etc can weaken helmets so if you're concerned about retaining your helmet's full protective capabilities, don't do it.
TheGreenBastardthey still make spray paint hippie
woah man that kinda attitude is not welcome in the drum circle
DIPED_IN_SAUCEDip it.

Does it holder on?
maximiliaanDoes it holder on?
unless you peel it off, yes. plastidip stays on surprisingly well, bunch of my friends use it for their car wheels and even with that abuse it stays on fine.
