As freestyle skiing grows, companies that develop tramp skis are emerging. Its a really cool concept, but is way overpriced and not overly durable. A few years ago I figured id try making my own by cutting up foam toboggan and putting crocs on using a lot of duct tape. It worked surprisingly well, and now i make them for friends. Tramp skis make trampolining so much more fun, but nobody should have to pay 200$ for them what you can just pay 20$! Just thought you guys should know, if anyone wants i can post a video so you guys can see what they're like or how to make them.
First time you under rotate you break the skis or the tramp, why bother?
^true, but it seems like it would help a lot with grabs.
i use mine from an old plastic foam type toboggan and ive under rotated countless times and skis and tramp are still perfect. i just wrapped a shit ton of duct tape to an old pair of shoes so they wont come off
My parents got me some legit ones when we got our tramp and they are quite nice and make it feel a lot more like actually flipping/spinning on skis than without them
i made a pair. I cut a pool noodle in half the long way and taped a pair of old slippers to them. They work pretty well

I've been thinking about making a pair for awhile, can you post how you did it
dangler2470I've been thinking about making a pair for awhile, can you post how you did it
I'm interested also
Idk if they're flexible enough but yardsticks might work well. Actually feel like I might have done this back in the day but can't remember. Light as hell but not bulky. You'd still be able to grab.
Sure they won't feel like skis wight wise but you'll be able to get some decent air big enough to throw tricks.
I was thinkin of making some for this summer, if you could post up how you did yours since you feel happy about them or even maje a vid if you want thatd be dope
2 pool noodles with slits cut to put your feet in. Never will break your trampoline and if they break its literally $2 to replace. Not the solid feel of skis, but can get the general idea of foot placement.
okay ill start a new pair in the next week or two and make a video
There's the freak next door on his trampoline again.
I taped up my edges and jumped on my trampoline with real skis once. I could 360 and Lincoln loop but it was stupid, way to heavy and clumsy
if anyone is interested i made a 'snowboard' for the trampoline by taking some snowboard bindings and mounting them to a skateboard... all the holes lined up perfectly and i just used some boots in them!
if you want to make some i can pm you how to make it.
