Saga ones are really nice. I have the ones from last year and the seem on the palm ripped apart but i just asked for a new pair and they haven't had anything effect the state there in so far

You cannot go wrong with Hestra. They are absolutely incredible.
not trying to be a dick rider, but the saga mitts are awesome

I have Hestra Seth Morrisons mitts and they are perfect (but very expensive) but for the price of the saga mitts on sale now (i think they are like $25) they are WELL worth the value... pretty damn waterproof and surprisingly warm... I'd say buy them, try them, and if you don't like them you could sell them on here again
not to be annoying but have you ever worn mittens that arent warm? gloves are one things but ive never worn a pair of mittens, even super cheapies, that werent super toasty
TURRIINIArmada bdog mit
Was actually looking at these, but they said size XL. Are those huge?
Hestra if you have the dough, otherwise just get Kinco mitts. You'll look extra core with them.

This, I have a pair of walmart grade mittens that are practically torn to shreds all over and are still warm.
My Scotts are hot as fuck. My sagas are really nice and great in all conditions so far.
Walmarts got some sweet $8 mitts. Strongest, long lasting mitts I've even worn. Plus you can easy afford two pairs to be able to swap on a dryer on those nasty wet days.
What's with people and reccomending shitty things? Like saga and walmart mitts, is it just to justify your shitty purchase?

normal people don't like to spend more money on things than they have to. theyre fucking mittens, your fingers are all in one compartment of material, it's like impossible for them to be cold in there, you don't need hestra mittens unless you are on some really intense cold trips. gloves, yeah they need to be well crafted, mittens not so much

Stfu unless you've ever had to wear them. You probably have those super fucking sick Jeff mittens with the charectors from sesame street on them. Gaper.

This, at the start of the season I got a pair of the THall Filmores and in about december I dropped one of them beside my driveway. That night it snowed like 20cm and the next time I went skiing I thought that I lost them. I liked the gloves so much that I got another pair. All the snow kept accumulating in my front lawn and did not melt until April. I thought that the gloves were long gone but one morning I looked and saw the glove sitting there looking like it was brand new. Anyways get this glove.
The best I have used are the Oakley forested factory pilots. Those things are sick. Warn but still breath so you don't get sweaty. This is a huge factor with cheaper mitts tht they lack breathability. I had some cheaper armada and they were warm but they did not breath so they sucked to wear. I also had some famine fillmores which were comfy and warm but not that durable. So personally I recommend spending a bit more and buy a nice mitt.
-SnowSnoli-you lie.... I would fap wearing them
These are so sick! Where can I buy some?
Oh the secret of ____ company. Any lift mechanic, backcountry skier, park skier, mountaineer that knows their shit will always be wearing them.
They're $20, full leather, and absolutely bomb proof...not to mention the warmest mitten I've ever worn. The only extra thing you have to do is waterproof them.

Fine I'll be nice since people don't seem to like me not saying who it is.

How you can waterproof them?
zulisHow you can waterproof them?
You can add wax and other treatments too them by it's not like a membrane in a proper mitten. The leather still can wet out and when this happens any breath ability is gone and you will be sweating in them and getting wet any way. Gloves like those are great for work and things but they do not beat a good quality ski glove/mitten.
Hit them with Snoseal or Nikwax and they'll be waterproof enough for your standard skiing needs. I wouldn't wear them in the rain but if it's that warm you don't need mittens anyway.
caderobinsonWas actually looking at these, but they said size XL. Are those huge?
they're not huge, actually more like a normal mitten in L or maybe even M
bieberhole69.What are these?
Hestra Windstedt Pro

Yep, if you don't care about looks (people care about how their gloves/mittens look?) then Kincos are pretty much the best, warmest, toughest, most waterproof (when waxed) glove/mitten out there. And they cost like $20 as he said.
Seriously, 99% of patrollers around here seem to wear them.
Burton. Not even joking. Burton makes great gloves and mittens.
