Basic tricks-(180, daffy, etc). Then 360s. Then ugly front flips, then ugly Lincoln loops (I never do these anymore). Then 540s. Then grabbed spins. Then rails. Then 720s. Then under flips( never do these anymore). Then bigger rail tricks. Then backflips, then ninja flips, then rodeos, then flat 3s. Still progressing from here.
Basic stuff then frontflips then 360s then backflips then 5s then misty's then rodeos then cork 7 then flat 3 then dub back. (Terrible grammar I know.) also never learn in this order haha.

dub back. baller!
how long did it take to land switch comfortably you reckon? did you have to be able to carve real well backwards?

About a season, and yeah it helps to be able to ski switch well.
I don't think anybody has a completely normal progression though. Most people I know learned 3s and then immediately started trying flips.

Haha thanks (I have evidence if needed @wilverineski7 on Instagram) and I have never been good at landing switch I can look over my right shoulder but not my left so when landing switch I usually quickly revert but I have been working on landing switch better. It is a pain but I recommend practicing switch as much as possible. Hope this helps!
-shitty 180, 360, 540, 720s, sw 180s and frontflips,
-grabbed and switch 180, 360, 540, lincolns and backflips
-rodeos/mistys/corks up to 720
and next season i want to try them switch and maybe some doubles.
i went
180
360
540
frontflips
720
backflips
cork 7s
cork 9s
flatspins
rodeo 5s
underflips
that's where i'm at now. i had a flatspin/rodeo block for a while. didn't really start getting good grabs into stuff until i got to like where i was throwing cork 7s. IMO grabbing is an extremely important part of the progression chain as well.

i'm guessing you guys practice all these inverts on tramps a copious amount to begin with?
ayylmaof yei'm guessing you guys practice all these inverts on tramps a copious amount to begin with?
ehhh. not really. just enough to know the feeling of doing them, how to spot your landing and how to throw it. they really aren't that hard it's more a matter of sacking up and doing it.
i was definitely comfortable doing these on tramps but i would by no means "practice" it was just more jumping around having fun.

like a month before the ski season i actually practice on the trampoline almost everyday, it really helps
I got 180's, and started doing rails, then slowly 360's. I just stayed with that for a while and progressed slowly then got front flips and back flips in the same day, but I tried back flips first. I'm on the tramp all the time but I like to be really confident before I try stuff.
copy pasta from another thread..
at first i did nothing but 180's because i could spot the landing the whole way through
then i sacked up for a 3, did those for a month straight until i got bored and learned 5's
after doing 5's for a few weeks i started hitting jumps switch.
did a bajillion switch 1's for a week or so
figured out switch 3's on little jumps (easiest hard trick ever)
next day i tried it on a bigger jump and thought it was easy as fuq
started doing sketchy switch 5's on little jumps.
a week or so pass doing another bajillion switch 3's on bigger jump
finally sack up for a switch 5, stomp the first one. try again and eat shit every time.
lost confidence and motivation on jumps for a couple of weeks.
decide to hit jumps again, land everything including switch 5's.
feeling really good so i say fuck it and go for switch 7,
sketchiest shit ever.
try again and stomp it.
but yeah that was pretty much my season on jumps, for context i ski about 3 - 4 times a week.
Grabs
180s
boxes
360
backflips
rodeo/flatspins/underflips a couple times each
starting to get harder rails
gave cork 7s a couple go's but the season ended
and thats what i've got to work with this season (under a month to go, so fuckin pumped)
