Not that I'm gonna buy it but I didn't think Rossignol would re-make it.
Anyone here get there hands on it?
Looks like the toe piece is the sames as Axial 2 or FKS 140.

pretty sure the whole binding is the same as a fks 140 just with a lower din range.

this would be correct.
great for dudes who only ride at a 9-10 and don't wanna shell out the extra for the 140. or for chicks who ride hard, gonna get my GF on some next year!
charmanderIt is.I want em to bring back the 155
This is all that really matters. Although I will probably be switching to these 12's next year.

Head scratch....
All I want are some FKS 155s to come back.
155s come back every year at your local ski swap, learn how to bend brakes and your golden

That came out weird, I'll try to put it into perspective. Firstly I was on STH 12 Drivers and blew up some heels on them. So from there I switched over to STH 2 13s and they're a drastic improvement over the old drivers functionally, but construction wise they're very plastic. So I'd like to get onto FKS/Pivots for all the reasons they're great but haven't yet because:
14 Din
-Shittier toe
-Still pretty steep on the wallet
-Viable option but what I'm on will suffice
18 Din
-I'd be riding Din low on them
-Super expensive
-Can't justify because of those reasons
I'd make the switch to the 12 or 15 because:
12 Din
-Same construction as the 14
-Supposed cheaper price, I can make that trade off for the craptastic toe
15 Din
-Has the full drive toe of the 18
-Doesn't have an insanely high Din range
-Wouldn't have the insane price of the 18
-Everything I'd love in a binding but can't have right now so I haven't switched
Next years FKS 14's have the same toe piece as the 18's which im pretty excited about
That's pretty sick... typically I won't be running my din super high anyways... might look into getting a pair of these soon
I love how many of you think you need the metal toe of the 155..... Some do but most of you are just simple minded tools with NS knowledge. I prefer to keep my ACLs thank you.

This is false. The 14 is unchanged, it's actually a carryover from the current season with same colors and everything (for FKS, not the same for pivot but there sure as hell isn't a one piece toe on the 14). God damn NS knowledge, there is a giant reason that they don't make that anymore, no vertical release of the metal toe really only does you any good if you're hucking 60 footers and hitting like freeway in breck size jumps. Sure the 3 piece toe is less sturdy but if it breaks, guess what? It's called warranty. Not to mention your knees will thank you every day

It will only be a warrenty if they are within the warenty period and this is the problem. Unlike skis people want to keep bindings for a while so having a durable product I a big factor. I'm still using old solly bindings from 15 years ago an have no issues.
The toe of the 140 and now 120 has been a downside for fks and I understand the issue with the 180 toe which begs the question why no redesign? The reason is from what I understand is there is not enough demand for fks to warent any r and d costs. Other then ns not many buy fks. So unfortunately untill the fks becomes more mainstream it's unlikely you will see any developments and without any developments the popularity won't go up. It's a real catch 22 situation.

I don't know if you've ever used the 18's before, but they sure as hell have vertical release. All you have to do to see it is press down on the front of the toepiece, and it pivots up vertically.
It does work too. You can, and I have double ejected the slap on your back way.
Still rocking my gold & black 120s on my old armadas. never had a single problem even with the 120s

These were a solid pair of bindings! Still wish I had mine!

*sigh* Y'know, for being so pissed about "Goddam NS knowledge" you don't seem to know shit about the 18s.
The single pivot toe is 40% more elastic than the 14 "wing" toe and also has full vertical and horizontal release that obviously correlates to DIN range, not huck height. If you set them at a 9 they function as a 9 should- and yes, will work as such regardless of what their highest setting is. Please stop acting like the P18 is a leg breaker that releases at an 18 value no matter what you set them at- it's wrong and it's doing exactly what you're supposedly so pissed about.
>12 DIN bindings
