Felt the effects real hard monday morning. Currently biking, filming some friends blade, and using the trampoline to handle my with-drawls. I was so desperate to hit a rail today, i sprayed a hand rail at a playground with wd-40 and slid it with my shoes for about an hour. RIP ski season 13-14
I've got 49 days til my mountain opens, i'm frantically trying to figure out what boots, bindiings and skis i should get for this year.
My hill closed back on march 16th. Its seemed liked forever already but I am coping with it by longboarding and biking a lot. The struggle is real.
My home hill closed almost a month ago, but I recently discovered a place 1 1/2 hours away is somehow still open with 5 rails. I live in Michigan and that's just unheard of. Heading up tomorrow morning can't wait to get one last day in.
cry half of the day, watch ski edits the other half. repeat till winter
Its not over yet. The east has a whole month of lift access skiing easy and tucks is going to be good till 4th of july and if you wanted to there was a patch of snow at sunday river big enough to lay down a pvc pipe just before 4th of july.
Keep fighting! Never let winter die!
I'm getting back into mountain biking now that spring is here and the trails are open. Still working on rehabbing some injuries from the season. Right now just finishing up plans for Windells this summer and the thought of it is teasing me. Either way glad for the break.
It's supposed to rain here but if we have any snow left at the mountain I might set a few things up for next weekend and have a little grill and chill sesh.
Idk if I'm gonna ride though. The last concussion at mount snow a week and a half ago kind of fucked me up. I want to try and get my head straight.
Maybe john stamos will stop by to shred my drumset and cover my yard in snow.
nope...still got 2 and half months of skiing left...sucks for the rest of you
Skateboarding and filming as such plus building a ridiculous summer setup using my old treehouse as the drop in (12 feet of height). Also working in a kitchen to stack the pape for school.
5C today,
Went biking for an hour,
Possibly the last weekend,
Slush everywhere,
Got splashed by a car,
Fell through some ice,
My feet got wet,
Went home,
Started writing poetry.
that feeling starts back in feb for me!!! and i ski every day!!! still skiing every day!!!!
I got em so hard man. The summer setup just doesn't do it these days.
Just came home from the hill. Today was closing day and I had so much fun shredding with my friends. I'm still in a good mood, but I think the blues will hit me in couple days.
I'm trying to keep my sanity up with skating a lot and propably doing some trampoline practice.
I'll be skiing tip july, not worrying about it too much. although if you're a skier and you don't MTB during the summer you're doing it wrong.
Mount Jore closes tomorrow, yet I'm down south for spring break. Luckily it's not that much a drive for me to Killington so if I can I hope to be able to ski until my school has regents exams and finals in June.
Building a rail for my backyard setup and hitting up post season deals at my local ski shop. But my hill is gonna have one more slush day in a week so im just living for that

Ended my season sooner then I wanted to with a dislocated elbow, it sucks to see that my home moutian is still open and planing to have an cinco de mayo part. Sucks ass for me. I'm just working on getting my elbow working for momentum. Two and a half more months guys...two and a half
longboad, skate, bike, edit 3 hours of clips for edits
Watch ski edits, try to use every trampoline that I can, designing a setup for next year's park, playing youriding freeski and shredsauce, etc.
I'll be attempting to get airborne at every opportunity. Diving, maybe building some dirt jumps, excessive visiting to gymnastics gyms.

I was going to go up there this weekend but didn't make it. Didn't make the face this year at all. Made it to mt jore once.
With my head all fucked up the last thing I want to do it get hurt at gore.
I might try to get over to killy once before I leave for NZ. I been every year for snow.down but haven't actually ridden there since 09. The hike park looks purty fun.
still have another month of skiing on the weekends. after that though i don't know what i'll do.

i still have couple of weeks before the season ends, but i have already started skating and filming it. and driving around the city with friends, blasting music from ski/snowboard/skate movies and looking for new street spots to hit next season.
last park day tomorrow. Still gotta few weeks after that, but it's winding down. Planning a lotta mountainbiking and summer camping at timberline with some friends.

Big Sky is open for another day, This is followed by a period of hiking until I can go shred Beartooth basin. Then I watch ski edits for the rest of the summer.

You know boyne mountain will be open for like another 2 weeks right? and they have a TON of features and snow still. I just went there today and it was super awesome, my friend landed a switch dub 9 on one of their jumps, first try too(he had only tried a double once before like 2 years ago). And there will be a rail jam on may 3rd at cannonsburg.
Michigan ain't done yet.
pick up rollerblading. closest thing to skiing. it soothes my ski cravings
I still have like 3 feet of snow in my yard and at least that much snow at my local hill but of course its closed and Im to lazy to go up there and move rails around manually. At least its all urban all the time now.
just over a month till my season begins and i swap from instructor to lifty !
Definitely starting to feel it, we have indoor slopes though but I live 2,5 hours away and no car. So I'm hitting the gym getting ready for summer ski season.
