Title basically says it all. throw out any stories/suggestions/tips to take into consideration. I wanna go this summer but realistically itll probably be next. Im turning 17 in a few days and id probably go with my brother whos 15. Is any session better to go to than the other?
I'm thinking about going next summer too. Im pretty sure all Windell's sessions have an adult group, so it won't be a problem going any week with your bro, because you'll be 18. If I were you, I'd just try to pick the least crowded session to go to. Maybe wait until the deadline to pick, so you know which session has the fewest people signed up. Other than that, you'll have a great time no matter which session you pick, and maybe I'll see you up there next summer.
okay man thanks, it sounds so sick. maybe ask my parents for it as a grad gift haha
you'll have a ton of fun, ive been twice, best two weeks of my life. Ive heard the adult camp is super fun cause they drive into town at night and stuff. I would go session 3,4 or 5 because theyll have the best park setup then.
sometimes sessions have different groups of people like i know there is a Traveling Circus session so if you really wanna see certain people you can go when they are there
You can smoke weeds at the adult camp. There's no rules

Haha alright sounds like a plan maybe see ya up there man
Paul.Check out MHSSC
or not cause that place is ghetto and there is nothing to do.

It's definitely ghetto, but I've heard pretty good things about MHSSC. People have said they have better, more personal coaching than Windells and there are a lot fewer people. MHSSC still has paintball and white water rafting for when Hood closes. The biggest downfall is that there isn't even a tow rope, when Windell's has two I think.

To add to that MHSSC is like $700 less per session, so it's definitely not a bad option. I've heard they have a thing where you can help out around camp and get a pretty big discount too.
If you're 18 and your parents have no trouble with you going alone, you should just ski for a week in the public park in june. 10 times cheaper, don't have to worry about following around counselors and shit, windells is for rich kids who's parents wanna ship them off for a couple weeks.
When I was 18 I went to hood with 7 other friends and camped/skied for a week and it was so much fun, if you're older than 16 i'd say skip going to camp.
A week of camp is like $2k
Skiing public is $60/day ($360 if you ski 6 days) camping is free and you could spend like $50-100 on food and depending on where you live (utah right?) like $100 in gas if you go with a couple friends. Total of like $500, such a better deal.

YEP
or go for may and hit west coast session and a 90 dollar pass for the whole month.
Woodward also has "dish dogging" which is washing dishes in exchange for stay at camp. No instruction and whatnot, but you can ski and skate whatever you want.
also, apply if your 16+, they just havent updated the website and ive talked to the owner and the age thing changed
