Overall They are a great ski, especially all mountain. If you buy them get them either centered, or 1 or 2 cm back. The traditional, or factory suggested mount sucks. If you don't plan on doing much park they are really good. They are fast, but heavy. They have a stiff, consistent pop. Best use is jumps. They are perfect, they land well, and slide out properly when you land too back seat. Remember big heavy and fast, hope this helps! Performance They perform well for the most part, i did not get them center mounted because they aren't symmetrical, awful decision. I fix my old skis with junk bindings today and realized that center mounting makes a bigger difference than I thought. Design I do, I wish the tail tip was higher, but it works pretty well. Value These skis are not the best idea for park, I think in the future i would buy a cheaper pair of skis without fear of destruction. Considering their performance, they are a $500 ski no doubt. The ptex bottom is extremely durable. I took them back woods skiing and they handled rocks, sticks much better than my two friends skis did. Fit they fit well, good size Characteristics Pretty stiff, tails flex for a firm pop Durability For me, they have to be centered. They are back so when I slide off a rail and land on my tails, the skis slide off and rip more sidecut off with them. __________________________________________________________ Buy 2012 Salomon Lord Skis at evo.com or shop for all Salomon Gear.
