it's all in the title

its been 14 fucking great years!!! half of my life
but now it's time for me to move on
i'm quitting the pro mode style cause i'm really over all the bullshit with all the hate and all the fis shit...
i've trying to deal with it helping my sport in anyway i could like trying different style of skiing passing all the exams to be a fis ans afp judge but i got to the point even if i'm trying hard to help it i get nothing back
i'll still be skiing cause i get real compnaies on my back who still beleive in me even if i want to quit. thanks to LINE and SAGA you guys fucking rock
i'll still be around kind of cause i'm a legs of steel for life so you might see me in their movies or at nine knights!!!

but i get to one point where i have to choose a way in my life and where i had turn a page in my life. i wont quit skiing cause it's my life but i need a change i need to free my mind from all the hate all the bullshit and all the thing promise thing that will never happen. i love my sport but i get to the point i love my sport that i have to quit it cause i have so many things to say that it could be bad the sport on some big person in the ski...

i write this cause i have to say it

anyway even if you don't here often of me it will be even less often now i'll still be around but not in the way i was helping the sport before
it'kinda selfish but now i'm just going to think andhaving just for me and ski for my bodies who help me

thanks for reading it's just a story short of what i think

not gonna lie, lolo is definatly one of my favorite skier to watch, most of the stuff you do is real original and sick, which unfortunatly doesnt fit with the comp mold, stoked to watch you still kill it with LOS though

Respect. The hate he is talking about is being emulated in some of these posts and yet the posters are confused as to what he's talking about. You're not in the industry, you're on your computer on an internet forum and therefore cannot even comprehend what Favre is talking about so sit the fuck the down.

Lolo je t'aime! Et t'inquiète, NS c'est toujours comme ça, beaucoup trop de "hate"...j'espère que ça changera un jour, avec l'ambiance du freestyle en même temps. Continue de skier pour toi, pour tes fans en France! et sache qu'en partant tu laisses un message au ski freestyle, comme l'on fait beaucoup d'autre en France, notamment Candide, qui ride pour lui et pour ses fans sans trop toucher à toute l'ambiance rasta/baggy/gansta/weed qui empêche le ski freestyle de progresser et d'avoir une meilleur image au yeux du grand public. not wanna be the dude that comes in and just has do shit in, too, but:

"all the hate"...this just shows weakness and your explanation is like a wide open field to attack, it's like a justification, and those who have to justify now there's guilt somewhere.

I'm not hating, I'm just saying that if you quit for the hate, you always did it for the wrong purpose, you could just shit on people's opinion and ski for yourself, and that's what it's all about. for real. I don't care if people hate on me, as long as it's fun, and I also now there are so much people out there liking what you do and there are my friends liking what I do, and those are the ones who matter...

If you just said you couldn't handle the pressure that would have been much of a better excuse, because we all understand what big pressure means, hating however is extremly subjective therefore not relevant for personal decisions, it's their problem if they don't like what you do, not your problem or a reason for you to quit...

You completely missed the point. He is quitting the professional scene because it's becoming more & more regulated by rules which try to put everything in certain categories and limit the sport.

He is putting an end to something because what he is worth as a skier and as a person does not get recognition where it should.

It's not hard to understand that if certain organisations or companies want to define your style or personalised way of skiing, in order for you to keep your position on their team, then you can make a decision to either put yourself in their mould and stay, or be true to yourself and leave.

There is no question of pressure, Lolo competed at the highest level and displayed athleticism & talent which deserve to be highly admired.

As much as I think I understand Lolo, the incoherent post alone makes this kinda undignified. To me Lolo is one of the true innovators of this sport, up there with Tanner, Candide etc. This post just bugs me, because however true, justified or understandable his reasons are, they just get lost in the shit show that is this post.

Never the less, I'm sad to see you go Lolo, you are a legend, both on and off the snow!

Mais qu'est ce que tu en as a foutre des réponses des gamins de l'autre coté de l'atlantique. En france t'as largement ce qu'il te faut et si tu attend encore 2 ans, je serai diplomé de mon école de cinéma et on filmera et c'est ce train de vie qu'il faut rechercher. Film + ski.

This is such a comp attitude it sickens me. The rasta weed and afterbang style imo were some the greatest styles that have helped push our sport's style and make great films just look at stept inspired or 4bi9. And who gives a shit about how the public sees us i ski for myself

skiing started to go down when tight pants came up... looks so messy and everyone wearing them just shits on style, ofc you can argue with "its skiing that matters" - but lets be honest who likes watching tech skiing with no style? style is just an important part of it... you can't just say fuck that because you can't do it...

Er, you do know that Lolo is French right? And that French people speak French, not English as their first language? And that people speaking different languages are sometimes not as clear or coherent as someone speaking in their native language?

I'm sad to hear this but as long as you keep putting out a little edit or segment every year i'll be happy. You have always been one of the best skiers in the world to watch - i'd rather watch you throw just one switch seven than a whole bunch of other pros hucking their meat for hours on end.
