Just went and got most of the parts for the trolley dolly. Now just need to find some suitable wheels, ballhead, and tripod plate.

You can make an LCD viewfinder quite easily out of legos, a toy magnifying glass, and a pill bottle.
Cut the top off the pill bottle, glue in the magnifying glass lens, this is you eye piece. Then build a lego rectangle for the body, the size spends on you LCD and distance you magnifying glass needs to focus.
I attach it with a 3 rubberband chain attached to the built in flash, and tripod plate

I want to make a Glide cam with one of these and some threaded rod. It seems pretty simple.

just made this. already had longboard wheels and tripod. took 2 hours and cost 47$ including track.

works amazingly well and can support my crane as well.

Chill your balls man. I completely understand someone making a DIY slider, dolly, glidecam, ect. But I think building a viewfinder out of felt and fucking legos is ridiculous. Its literally $25 for a viewfinder off of amazon right now. Not to mention you would look like the biggest fucking retard going up to the hill with a viewfinder made out of toys.
