I got the Gypsy SKNY the other season for Icelantic as an all mountain/powder ripper. I ride these more or less like symmetrical park skis for powder, which makes them a super fun ski to jump around on. They don't really have any camber, however, which makes them harder to turn on groomers.
I've ridden these in the park, but I honestly wouldn't recommend it as a one ski quiver, they are patently designed for charging big mountain lines and exploring in the powder.
Nevertheless, they're incredibly durable. After a seasons worth of skiing they still look pretty much brand new. However, this added durability does translate to added weight. Because of this and the skinnier waist (99 mm), they are a little hard to bring back under control if you get loose in deeper powder (for deep powder Icelantic offers the regular Gyspy, 125 mm underfoot).
These skis excel at a resort like Alta, because they have the rocker to float in powder, are stiff enough to hold up on fast lines and big cliffs, and have good pop for hitting jumps (forward or switch).
Best skis I've ridden so far. I used them all week at Windells, no edge cracks, no base scratches, and minimal topsheet damage. Plus I learned tons of new tricks on them. I would recommend picking up some 2013s, they have the raddest graphics.
