Overall The reason I give the helmet a (7/10) is because I feel that Sandbox didn't focus on the protection portion as it should have been their priority. PROOF: why would they still be selling uncertified helmets? ANSWER: Simple because they want to make money and the look of the helmet is generally focused to many of the consumers. Thus overall, generally speaking it's a solid, sick looking, helmet.* I don't suggest you buy the uncertified ones...there's a huge difference! Performance Performance wise, it is descent. Helmets sure have to protect your head as that is their main priority but I feel that Sandbox made their helmets mainly for the look of them. Not knowing that I bought the uncertified version, after taking a pretty hard fall to the head, I felt very dozy. But at the same time it could be because it's not certified. There sure is a big difference according to the founder/maker of Sandbox. Design Personally they look dope! The only down size is that I feel there shouldn't have been a visor like thing at the front. It's just more weight and theres no purpose to it!Other than that, the helmets come in many colours such as purple, green, and black, they're simple yet very sickkk! Value I got it on sale before the season started which came to about $50.00 canadian at Second Wave. (Woot! Second Wave REPRESENT!)I got it at a good price. Usually their about $80-90 dollars. Fit Because of my strangely large head, My dad and I drove out to a local surf shop about 40mins away from home after trying all of these sport related shops. Failing to find a snug fit, thats when I found the Sandbox Brain Bucket! The sizes come in (S/M) (M/L) (L/XL).I tried on the (M/L) but it still didn't fit right, and so I got the largest size of them all.The fit is very nice, snug, and doesn't warm up your head on those hot days.Overall, the fit is very nice! You also don't have to worry if its going to grow out of you because not only does it come with the helmet, it comes with stickers and 4 different paddings! Durability I haven't taken an intense fall to the head yet but I'll keep you all informed. lolI'm sure you wouldn't die or anything but it wouldn't be the safest of all.
