1080 or banshee boot?
What boot is best for mostly park, but abit of everything else too?
look into the pro model boot from salomon. just like the 1080 except its stiffer. it would suit your all mountain needs better.
the 1080 boot has a flex index of 70, the pro model is at 90, and the banshee is at 110. Now I have ridden each one, and the banshee is much more comfortable, unless you have a very wide foot. I found the lateral stiffness of the banshee boot is much better for all around riding than the salomon. The pro model and banshee are geared for the same, expert freeride skier, however the banshee is a tad stiffer. The pro model was too soft in moguls and on hardpack. The Banshee is just right, stiff, but not too stiff for park and pipe.
I can hook you up with the banshee 110 for $319, or last years, which is a flex of 100 for $199.
