Sometimes people can afford stuff but they steal simply because they have no respect for others an a very small conscience. At my boarding school there were no locks on the room doors and some 'rich thugs' would steal shit for no reason.

What would you do if you caught someone trying to scoff your skis? I'd LOSE IT! I've had so much stuff stolen from me, including a $4000 mtn bike... 1 in 6 made in the world... Piss me off! I still picture seeing someone ride by on it then get clotheslined and severely beaten!

did you hear skogens skis got stolen up at the glacier. that kid must feel really bad. he stole skogens skis. its on line ski.com and everything. if you love skiing, why would you take someone elses ski from them?? taking valuable stuff from people is so wrong.

syealing is gay...i've been so careful with all my stuff since my mt snow experience, i separated and hid both my skiis when i was in whistler, my friend's poles got stolen in whistler, which is just retarded

Hopefully u had insurance. A ski lock would have made the theif's life a little more difficult. But yeah I agree with ya, stealing sucks. Bring back corporal punishment!!

The most annoying thing, I reckon is that half the time it's not just some desperate/envious ski bum who nicks off with one pair of skis... that would still be pathetic, but at least i can understand the temptation. Most of the stealing where I worked got done by groups, usually workers, looking for extra cash - even worse, a lot of other resort workers were happy to buy from them... I know it's cheaper, but don't help them! This, of course has NOTHING to do with the fact that I had Rossi Pro Powairs nicked from a locked building, where they were supposedly being looked after by a supposed mate... I still haven't recovered from that blow (especially after my insurance told me they'd only cover $US250)

That sux, my skies where stolen after I got about four or five runs on them. They where cheap heads but they where brand spankin new. My wife and I wheren't prepared for the really high winds so after a couple of runs we ran back to the car to throw on another layer, only gone for about five minutes came back to jump on my stix and they where gone, left my wifes stix but snagged mine. Ruined my day even after the resort let me use a rental pair. SO DEATH TO SKI STEALERS.
