Whistler Retail Stores Ripoff

The retail stores in Whistler are the most rip-off stores I have ever seen. More than I would ever expect... I few items I have seen....All prices are CDN, exchange rate is .82 now
1080 LAB - 700
1080 Foil - 779
HH Santo Jackget (Eric Pollard, etc..) - 412
pants - 350
Oakley Wisdoms - 200
I know they are just trying to rip off dumb tourists but is there any incantation a knowledgeable person can use to get a better price? Or are there enough dumb people to buy the stuff at the ripoff prices?

well its whistler first of all, so its not cheap, and its not even such a rip off, especially because these are next year's skis, maybe you say so because you exchange rate sux...

well first off its whistler, so expect high prices. but dude, its pretty easy to get a deal, you just need to find the right sales dude and chat it up for a bit, and voila! cheap armada t-shirt from glacier shop. just use common sense.

its the glacier shop isnt it? well its the hip ski store right now, so they got all the new expensive stuff, but I doubt its mmuch more expensive than any other places, and comor and snowcovers and other stores in vancouver and whistler have the same prices, so its not really a ripoff...
