I wear a helmet, because ive had some nasty crashes where if i didnt have one on it would have been ugly...but anyway helmets or hats?

The manual that came with my helmet said 'Tested at speeds of up to 11 mph, so if I hit a tree I'm pretty much screwed

have been wearing a helmet some i've started skiing park, and def. wil always wear one after seeing my friend get a nasty concussion. he doesnt remember like a good hour of that day. just not worth it not to

its actually been researched that helmets do almost nothing when going over 18 mph, and the average skiier ski's at 30+ MPH, sometimes a park skiier can have a false sense of security with a helmet and sctually get hurt more often because of this.

^Sure if you run straight into a tree going super fast your helmet isn't going to do much, but when you're skiing park how often do you run into something going 30? Generally you're falling onto a landing, or slipping off a rail. If you skiing hard, skiing without a helmet is just plain dumb.

Always a helmet iv had to many bad falls on ice that would of killed me most likely with out one. Ive broken 2 helemts this year.

I always wear a helmet. And to all the kids saying that if they are just ''chilling and doing things I know I can do''....such a stupid thing to think. Accidents can happen anywhere, at anytime. You could be skiing a groomer and some tourist cuts you off and you bail into the trees...
