Hi, I am looking to take my skiing to the next level, the park, and would like any suggestions for adult freestyle ski schools? Location does not matter. I am 30+ and am looking for baseline skills for the park (spins, rails, boxes). Thank you.
A helmet, ass pads, back protector, and repetion are a healthy substitute to a camp.
I'm in the 30+ boat too and have never been to a camp. I landed my first back flip at 27 and continue to slowly (SLOWLY) progress my park skiing.
Build hits and huck your meat, hike the same rail ALL DAY. You are ultimately your own best coach. I'm not knocking camps what so ever. Just chucking in my aging two cents.
Happy shredding brother.

^um seems like people that go to camp/lessons progress way faster. I'm over 30 and self taught and still progressing but I'd go to camp or get a coach for sure if I had time and funds and really wanted to be better in the park. Seems like there are tons of little tricks that people have figured out and a good coach could probably share a ton in a short session rather than trying to figure out everything trial and error. Sounds like there are a bunch of options up on Mt. Hood.
Check out Core Camps in Whistler, I can't recommend it enough. Will be perfect for what you are looking for and I have made many many lifelong friends there.
