Things to do if you can't lift over 10 pounds?

Broke my back and got surgery a little over a week ago. My parents ended up flying me from CO back to Maine because I can't really do much. No Bending, Twisting, or lifting more than 10 pounds, so walking (with my kickass backbrace) is really the only physical activity I engage in. I'm currently bored shitless with nothing else to do, but endlessly watch ski edits and that just ends up bumming me out because I can't ski. Anyone know of some hobbies or activities that are crip friendly?

-->how it happened: tried to lay out backflip. Did not lay out backflip. Turned into taco.

My friend broke his back last summer and I took sit-ski instructor training to get him back out on the slopes. He enjoyed it very much. Depending on how spinal compression is in your specific case, you could try that! It's fun!

My friend broke his back last summer and I took sit-ski instructor training to get him back out on the slopes. He enjoyed it very much. Depending on how spinal compression is in your specific case, you could try that! It's fun!

But I will be able to ski again in about 5 months! Shoulda put that in there. Was thinking maybe hiking up to the park and putting a lawn chair down to watch rippers go by

But yeah if I was in your situation I'd take up fishing.. just don't reel in any hogs lol. I'm guessing you can bike? Road biking can be chill if you're allowed. You'll probably find yourself watching a lot of TV you never wanted to watch. Get yourself a bf.

whenever i'm injured I generally do a few weird drugs, feel bad for myself, play a lot of videogames and make a whole lot of playlists for when I'm not injured.

HAHAHA no but it was the same kind of fall. I'm not very air aware, so when I realized that I wasn't going to make it around I did a similar thing as that guy with my legs, which doomed me to taco. I haven't seen it posted yet but I check all the time.

I recently had 6 IV needles in my arms and frequent blood work for two weeks straight. After my arms absolutely killed and I could barely use a pencil. I found skateboarding is still doable. I mostly just played video games and waited to recover though
