GrantLewisIsDNTMDO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT get the Rode Videomic Go. Invest in the Videomic Pro! In DSLR's the videomic go has a weird his in all audio that cannot be removed or fixed. The videomic Pro has db control and with the right in camera and mic setting, you can achieve perfect audio straight through your camera.
Yep, at least get the pro. But keep in mind that if you plan on expanding what you can do in film, getting an xlr mic is worth the extra money. I have a sennheiser mke 600 that I recently got a mini jack adapter for and started using like a videomic and the sound is leagues better. Also gives you the option to use with a recorder/pole setup for shorts and docs.
For me, fuck style. i'm just trying not to land upside down.
If there was a stock for basic bitch white girl iphonetographers, i would invest all i had into it right now.
