So, the IUD didn't work for me, my body didn't like it. However, several of my friends have had amazing luck with one, and they swear it's the way to go. They're covered for five years. I've had good luck with the Depo Shot, I tried the nuva ring (though i don't recommended it for active girls) and now I'm on a super low dose pill.
Talk to your OBGYN about what's going on, they might be able to help more!
ALSO: One IUD is non hormonal, and it's the copper one. It lasts ~10 years. The other has super super low hormones I believe. Bedsider.org has some super helpful info on them: https://bedsider.org/methods/iud
