ValciI usually do groomers and powder which around the parts i ski most is mostly through wooded terrain. I haven't bought a new pair of skis in a almost a decade so im just getting up to speed with all the new tech. Care to ellaborate on those skis you mentioned? whats the maker and model, maybe a link somewhere? ty.
Not saying to go out and buy them obviously do the research.
I love my surface blanks. I have the park model. Mounted slightly back from center for all mtn skiing on the east cosat. I also have pow skis. They are super stiff and charge very hard. Hold and edge nice and are pretty quick given their size. I love normal cambered skis...than again I also have a race background. I find rocker so pointless on the east coast it just takes so much away from the effective edge on the hard pack. Rocker is nice but I only tihnk its useful on pow/crud days and west coast skiing
