Ski length 2015/16 Sir Francis Bacons

Hey NS's I'm in the market for a new set of planks. After many hours of research I've decided on he 15/16 line SFB's. I've really gotten into jibbing the hill and am looking to replace my current salomon shoguns 182cm. Now my question would you guys recommend I buy the 184 or 190 cm length? I'm 6'4" 185lbs and enjoying chucking and spinning all over the mountian (although haven't done much park)

Yeah, you are big enough you should be on the 190.

I've spent time on both, and I absolutely LOVE the flex patern on the 184, maybe my favorite flex pattern/shape combo I've been on in a hot minute, but it's just too short to be a super capable "all mountain ski" for me (6', 180lbs")



I only have 3 runs on the 190, which I thought I was going to fall in love with immediately, but I was surprised to find it was much stiffer, to the point where I wasn't taking full advantage of the flex (keep in mind I''m not a very chargy skier)

So yeah, I'd say go with the 190

I feel this, I demoed them last weekend and I felt as if they were wayyy stiffer than the older models (14-15 and older) I was also riding the 178 and I'm 6' 155lbs.

I guess I was expecting them to feel like the 13/14 SFB's I had but they were a way different feel since they were redesigned.

Nah, I agree way different feel from the previous years (huge step up in versatility IMO) and then I was also surprised at the difference in flex between lengths this year. Those 190's could actually be a pretty dang versatile ski for the right skier.
