Swandog7Id go with atleast a 13 din binding, even if you only use like a 9 din, the durability is so much better imo. If you look at tyrolia id go with attack 13s or even 16s, depending on ur din, but most likely 13. I just rode my attack 13s 2 days ago fr the first time and really enjoyed them
powderwhorTyrolia is a good company but d11's are low end recreational bindings. You want something with at least a max din of 13 or 14 at your height and weight. I would suggest the Tyrolia attack 13 or 16, Tyrolia mojo 15 or 18, the Look pivot or rossignol fks 14 or 18, the salomon sth 13 or 16 and the marker griffon, jester or jester pro (probably not the griffon).
AgitatedHiatusAlso thinking about ski size. I was thinking 176. While that might be short, they are better at spinning. I could go with something above 180 though.
saskskierThis continues to probably be the best deal on bindings I've seen anywhere and would definitely recommend them (I have the 18 din, 4frnt version)

(if you want something beefier, which you probably don't need)

AgitatedHiatusWould the head mojo 15 work on the punx?

Swandog7literally the majority of the bindings out there work, it depends on din, durability you need, what type of skiing you do, your budget. You'll need the correct brake size as well.
LamafamaAre you planning on just skiing park? Theres a load of other options I would probably look at too. Nothing wrong with your binding choice in a Mojo 15.
Tyrolia make the bindings and Head and 4FRNT re brand them, the Mojo (head) and Padlock, Dead Bolt, Thunderbolt are 4FRNT, Liberty use re branded Tyrolias as well.
Be careful with the 4FRNT ones as the names don't always match the DIN setting year on year. Theres nothing wrong with them but check the DIN setting in the ad 1st. With Head its always been Mojo.

AgitatedHiatusI plan on doing both park and mountain. Can you answer my question? Will a 97mm brake work on the 2015 punx?
LamafamaI'm taller and weigh the same as you, I own nothing below a 188... Tyrolia wise I have Peak 18's on my rock skis, Peak / Mojo / Padlock / Thunderbolt 18s are all the same and would do you well. Also STH 16s or Pivot 18s are your friends when your our size.
powderwhorFor real. I'm tiny and I've given up on pivots without the metal toe. 18's or the old 155's for the win.
LamafamaThey really should do a 6-16 Din all metal version, I think that would cover 99% of the market for that binding. For the race crowd who all need a higher din most manufactures race bindings are now totally separate entities or designed to mount with retainer and flex systems. even Tyrolia now have separate race and freeride bindings, they were one of the last to keep some commonality between them.
