seattle rail session

everyone from seattle area should go next week to a rail and someone with a truck should get snow and we can all do a big rail and have fun cus i have never done an urbane jib and it will be phat. all it needs is people to commit. how about next thurseday at like 6 pm some location in urbane seattle. i duno.

thats a really sweet idea, I'd love to go if I could hit rails and if I was in town but i'm not. I hope you get a good crowd and do it downtown and get some publicity.

you don't have to go to paradise to get snow. you just need to go to an ice arena. brit1275 and i just did a little jibbing today on our homemade rails. were not to good, but it would still be cool to come and watch. i gotta truck, but i don't know of any ice arenas in down town seattle. i live in kirkland and there is one here, but i don't know if my truck can make it with a bunch of snow in the back all the way to seattle.

dude i was in kirkland todya, i sailed there, ate at 'that pizza place' and got posters at the bikini store, anyway, yea you should get ice with your truck. we need more people and a rail location. people look, i dunno where. this will be so sick if it happens and people show.

Co-Flow has the right idea I live in Kirkland, and the drive is only 4hrs, sooooo easy to do! Infact I think I am going to go this weekend now that I am thinking about it!!!

the best place to do it (even though the cops would kick you out in like 30 seconds) is the rail next to the basketball court at the North Kirkland Community Center (where I work) it's like a quintuple kink (yes, that's 5) with bushes on either side, it's sick!

if anyone's ever at NKCC in the evening (after 5 mon-thu), stop by and say hi to the blonde kid at the front desk, thats me!

Hey Tyler and I just got back from Rainier. conditions were so nice.. check at the top of alta vista, we both saw a natural terrain park but neither of us had our skis :( plus theres some nice rails we spotted up there.

yeah there is a pimp rail up there, but its right on the road so that when you jump off of it you'll get run over. but yeah they still have a little snow left. we built 2 jumps today. i did a 180 and was gonna do a switch 180 off the second jump. but then i missed the second jump and fell for some reason and hit my head on a little metal sign that says to stay out of the meadows. so now i have a huge bump on my head and it hurts like hell. so word to the wise: watch out for little metal signs.

haha, yeah that fall sucked. he like folded in half, and those signs are hard sharp little bastards. but hey, we got to try out our new twinnies, right? and where is this 'natural terrain park'? we could see up alta vista there was more snow, but didn't look like no terrain park. we had barely any snow to even build jumps.

ok what we both saw was kinda by alta vista.. more like when you get to almost all the way up to alta vista, you turn left and its by the muir snowfield.. haha yeah thats the rail i was talking about.. too bad theres so many tourists and cars up there, otherwise it'd be hella nice

haha, where we were jumping, there was like 300 mexicans sliding down on plastic bags all around us. some guy from el salvador came over, put his arms around us, and gots his picture taken with us holding our skis, then he made me shout 'el salvador!' to his video camera!!! it was pretty funny!
