eheathYou own all this expensive equipment, but then wanna cheap out on stabilization? C'mon.
Last week I got a glidecam 2000 pro on ebay for $125 shipped in great condition...
isaacwrongIt's really not that difficult to search around man..i'll get you started though
You could just use a conduit box for where the camera sits so its more stable too

cdip"Aside from my glidecam" i just want something cheap I can whip out and film some joke edits with
eheathsigh
cdipSigh the millionth negative post from eheath
eheathWhy not just use your glidecam? It the right tool for follow cams, posting up and everything in between.
cdipit's huge I'd just like something small I can fit into tight spacing and get low shots
eheath...
Have you even shot with your glidecam?
I'm just gonna give up, buy more shit, go ahead.

eheathJust buy more shit, not my money.
An xgrip is $20-30 based on where you get it.
nutz.yo cdip, chill the fuck out.
Idk why everyone's downvoting heath, he's pretty right. cdip's literally been posting at least once a week about new shit to buy as if it'd majorly help his filming in some capacity.
You want something to just whip out that's not a glidecam? make your own fig rig out of pvc. It's not gonna be less unwieldy though lol.
cdipI aint chilling the fuck out. Every time I try to make a post eheath comes in and is negative as hell.
eheathYour posts are a nuesense. You could simply search Google for every thread you make, then someone does research for you and you shut them down cause you already looked at everything. All grips/wheels/whatever are the fucking same we don't have some secret for you that were hiding. You make too many threads, do some research like the rest of the world.
Or stop being an idiot and just use your glidecam. You can shoot everything you want with a glide cam and it'll help you be more smooth.
w_skieralso if your too lazy to spend $5 and 5 minutes to build one out of pvc and would rather throw money at it I dont think you'll even bother filming with whatever you get op
cdipid love to. but no hardware stores in my small town sell the connectors I need
eheathLast week I got a glidecam 2000 pro on ebay for $125 shipped in great condition...got one for 75 other day! Got a question though, bearing seems to have a slight grind to it, doesn't affect smoothness but worries me.
cdipid love to. but no hardware stores in my small town sell the connectors I needyou're trying to tell us that a hardware store doesn't have half inch PVC and 45' elbows. You're either 12 or the biggest idiot. Dont flame eheath for being polite enough to call you on stupid shit. Every thread ive seen from you I've been like wtf type this in google search. The best gear is the gear you've got with you. I'd much rather have my glidecam or opteka steadyvid over a fig rig or PVC rig any day. Joke edits or amateur hour? Film with what you have and perfect that then move on.
uturnmake and pretty much the exact stabilizer in the photo its not a cheap pvc part frame like most people make for themselves... messege me if you want to buy one

nutz.Ive never tried taking it apart but you could always try putting a healthy serving of lube on the outside of the bearing shield and work it in and see if that helps
And also a good point, google and youtube have excellent search functions
cdipHow much fam
theA6ENCYi will gladly take your glide cam
in my opinion your hands can be used to quickly film
if you just dropped the bank on a hd4000 i know i would be out side running around getting used to it!
