Going to be spending the winter at Alta and want a pair of skis that will work for pretty much every day. I'm an intermediate/advanced skier and am looking for something that works really well in powder but can also handle hardpack. prefer a more playful ski as opposed to a super directional ski. I demoed the jj 2.0 last year but only skied them for a couple days during a storm, they seem like they'd be too wide for everyday use? Any recommendations? (5'11" 145)
So if jjs are too wide I'm guessing you want something from like 105-115 underfoot? Here's what I would choose:
Kartel 106 (I have these so ask any questions about them
SFB
Rocker 108
K2 Shreditor 112
KF Layzrblades
ON3P Jeffrey (I've spent time on these)
4frnt devastator
4frnt YLE (I have these as well)
