He learned it at a summer camp and now he has a collection of 11 or 12 of the things in various sizes and he even participates in competitions for it. The class will be dead silent, and then all of a sudden we'll hear him go off and start whirling the thing all over the place like a fucking madman, doing tricks and shit. The kid will stand up and walk around the room showing off his skills and the teacher never bats an eye.

Haha yup i play, been into it for about four years now and i have about 10 kendamas. Its a lot of fun but theres a pretty big learning curve. The tricks i can do now like double or tripple lunar flips i never would have imagined doing when i first started. to me its taught me anything is possible if you work hard enough. I recomend it to anyone
