Back protector?

I fractured a couple vertabrae and skied most the season without a protector but decided to get one and try it out. I grabed a poc VPD 2.0 and it actually wasnt terribly uncomfortable and kept my back hella warm. The vest is soooooo much more comfortable than just the back protector if you can afford it, i also think it protects a little better.

Salomon makes a nice one. I was using it this past season and it was very comfortable. Slytech also makes them but I've never heard any reviews from them so I can't say too much about them.

Slytech maybe? Since it's in the same price range as POC and doing a good job as a protectors as I heard (haven't tried myself)...

Slytech's impact foam is the best on the market at shock absorption. I'd go there!

buy second hand! I got a slytech for $65 that I use on hard charging days

Just get a strap back protector, I have a scott one, it's quite flexible so after a few weeks or wearing it I never notice it. It doesn't save my back everyday but it definitely has in the past, and I mean I really don't notice it anymore so might as well.

Id recommend getting leg protectors if you do a lot of park. Same there, I don't notice/feel it anymore, and it has saved me from that painful ass bruise when you fall on a rail/box that prevents you from skiing well for at least a few days a ton of times. Much more useful than the helmet imo (ok ok getting concussed is much worse but that happens very rarely compared to hitting your ass/leg on a rail)

I have the evoc protector lite vest. It's super comfortable and i barely notice that I have it on.

got myself a slytech last season and absolutely love it. Falling in general just hurts a lot less with it on. You cant even feel it when you wear it and its just super sick. Definitely recommend getting one, they are amazing
