New footage on the Tunisia terror attack

Sky news obtained this footage and it is truly some of the bravest and most courageous acts from men I have ever seen. The complete disregard for their own safety to obtain this terrorist is amazing, and yet mainstream media won't even cover it.

what was brave about that in any way what so ever? brave would have been running up from behind and sticking a broken bottle in the shooter's neck right before the shooter walked out on to the beach.

I mean its more as a group they created a big enough mob of people chasing him that he couldnt just keep shooting the whole place up, than forced him to flee which is a lot easier for cops to deal with.

On his own, no, this guy didnt do a ton but film, but as a group they probably stopped dozens of deaths.

i'm not saying it's our responsibility/duty to arm them, but there's really no denying that had there been armed security of some sort, even under the guise of a guest, the gunman wouldn't have been able to roam freely and continue to pluck people off....

thats really fucking expensive. Most hotels in the USA wouldnt want to have to pay for that. Tunisia has faced turmoil before, as recently as 2011, and having a super powerful government police force that had the resources to stop attacks like this would probably not go well, just as arming a giant civilian force. A big enough company of armed security cards could stage a coup.

It ain't as simple as America.

it doesn't have to be a company, or an organized government agency. it only has to be one man chillin' on the beach with a .40 in his bag...or a front desk clerk with shotgun under the counter. hell, he doesn't even have to be a good shot....just capable of returning fire so the guy have free reign of the place until the police show up. i mean, it's really hard to concentrate on killing innocent people when someone else is shooting at you...

lol you think everyone just has them? Especially in Tunisia which had a huge govt crackdown?

The only people who have guns there are people you probably don't want to have them for one reason or another.

In an unstable country that has never had them openly legal in the first place, yes. Unfortunately who you would consider the "outlaws" changes pretty quickly as well. One day the police might be the peacekeepers, the next taking over the government. Arming everyone would not solve this problem. Groups that currently yell at each other would just turn into street shootouts.
