So I have a Canon 40D Camera and I was just thinking I take a lot of pictures of the moon lately, and was thinking I might want to get into more star photography and was thinking I Kinda want to get a lens that could also double as a little bit of a telescope. Was thinking about something like this: http://www.amazon.ca/Long-Range-650mm-2600mm-Telephoto-Digital-Cameras/dp/B00KQ3L4FQ/ref=sr_1_3/183-3460055-7223743?ie=UTF8&qid=1434734446&sr=8-3&keywords=canon+lenses+telephoto
Anyone know of any that can reach further than that lens? I want to get some really awesome pictures of stars and the moon and stuff. I have a 75-300mm lens and it seems to work fairly decent for the moon, but I want something that I can get even more detail with and zoom further into stars. I dunno if there are lenses that shoot further than the one I posted. I'm thinking I might have to try and put something together with a telescope for the pictures I want maybe.
I dunno if anyone can help me I'm just seeing if anyone has any experience with this sort of thing already.
