Hey everyone,

Ross here at Hemlock Creative, just wanted to drop some mid-summer hype for you on a new film we shot this season titled, 'Tamashii'. This isn't your typical ski film, as its a social documentary that aims to question our dependence on technology these days, and its affects on future outdoor and social engagement. Here's the teaser for it, I hope you all enjoy!

What happens if you don't hit your goal? Why don't you have a blu-ray option? And if you get the DVD does it come with a digital copy or will the DVD be DRM free so I can just copy it over?

If we don't hit our goal we don't get any of the money...which is why it's really important that we get your support on this independent project. We don't have blu-ray because, well, as you'll see in the film, the concept is sort of about getting away from all the fancy shmancy tech these days and really only using what you need. VHS copies possibly in the works as well...and yes, the DVD should come with a digital version on it as well.

Ethan Stone accompanied us on the trip for a week, and he wrote up a really great article on the film that you should all check out - it's really well done!

so you use drones and probably higher end camera equipment and computers to edit? how is that not fancy-shmancy in terms of production and post-production. Don't let your buyers down because your too cheap to spend the extra grand it costs to make a blu-ray master.

congrats on reaching your goal, but this concept is the biggest contradiction for a ski movie since poorboys tried to make "something different" rather than a ski porn.
