Cork 7 help

So i tried my first cork 7 this last weekend and have been doing them on the trampoline a lot before that and was wondering if you can give me some advice. Im thinking if i tucked it wouldve probably came around since staying penciled out stalled the rotation back to my feet im pretty sure.

try to set with more of a t set and really throw it but dont wind up your body. As you pop look past your opposite skis tail and chase it, once you get to 270ish, tuck and you will be set...hopefully that helps

since you bone red it out you set it for a cork 10. tucking would definitely help it come around.

Yah i penciled it out because the jump was small and i didnt think id rotate the spin fast enough if i tucked.

When I do cork 7s I try to throw them more over my shoulder and tuck a bit at 270. Also super important to spot your landing and pop.

It didn't look like you even set for a cork 720. You need to drop your shoulder more. I find it helps to think of it as a 180 to misty 540.

Drop right shoulder to left hip? I think part of the wrong set would be because the jump was so steep and my first time trying

you didnt really set it like a cork 7 you set more for a cork 10 or something try thinking like a 270 then with sort of a side flip but your feet never really go over your head. think of setting it more straight like a 270 then tucking for off axis part. Because i slowed your vid down and it looked like where you should have suck you didnt and your body sort of just stayed horizontal. just pause your video and look at it, you start going off axis when your body is at 180 degrees you are supposed to start going off axis at 270, i made this mistake when i learned them, its hard to point out on skis since the jump sets you back but on the tramp its easy to spot, just remember set it like a cork but a tad straighter and wait till until you body is 270 to tuck.

I slowed down the video and yah i see what u mean at 180 i was going to tuck and was off axis then opened up at 270 I dont know why. So to clarify set less flippy off preferably a park jump and tuck were i opened?

Pull your legs in or grab at 270-360. Also, don't rush your head early; let your arms and chest do the work.

push your hips forward with the throw, just like if you were going to backflip. This was the suggestion I got from the newschoolers community when I first tried. Instant I did that it came all the way around. Also bigger jump will instantly make it easier. Good luck!

To fix it just start to tuck more at 270, this is pretty difficult to explain just by typing. Spin a little more before you tuck.

2. Stay pencilled until 360

3. tuck your knees to your chest at 360 and this will bring you around to 720

4. stomp and ride away

Never pencil anything. Your knees should be slightly bent, not penciled.

When i spin i usually do tail grabs since tucking in for safety feels awkward for some reason. Would that be fine or should i only be going for a tucked grab?

I learned cork 7 with a safety grab, then started doing mutes and now I usually grab blunt. My suggestion is to start with a tucked in, forward grab. Once you feel safe with that, change it up.

What helped me the most was carving into the jump and dropping my shoulder like i would for a cork 3 or cork 5. Carve into the jump and once you reach the takeoff pop hard ( with an kind of narrow stance) and look behind you onto the kicker. Grab safety at about 360 and slowly work your way up to blunts.
