First post, thanks in advance for any help.
I reside in arizona but typically attempt to ski 10-12 days a year. I ski primarily Colorado, Montana, Utah and occasionally Jackson. I'm 6 feet and between 170-190 pounds depending on my training and diet (I spend a considerable amount of time strength training). I'd consider myself an advanced level 7 skier, although I have no shame in admitting I typically ski a bit beyond my ability.
I'm shopping for a 1 quiver ski, price doesn't matter. I'd like something good in most conditions, but could handle powder in the 1/1000 chance that it snows while I'm on the mountain. I enjoy skiing off-piste the most, but (inevitably) have ended up on groomers a lot due to conditions/luck
My research has brought me to these 2 skis. Lots of positive reviews on the Jeffrey, but not a lot of info on the candide at all. I like the fact that the candide is almost a full pound lighter per ski (I'd imagine this is pretty significant?) I've been on a pair of k2 extremes for the last 5 years, so my seat time is limited with other skis.
