It's a fact, The East Coast/Mid-West skiers are the true, unsung heroes of our sport. Not to mention the heart and soul.

But let's face it, we have real-life problems here in the Rockies too.

okay i'll bite, having grown up on the east and now shredding "the best snow on earth."

"all the roads are closed because there is too much snow, and avy danger is way too high for the backcountry"

"a 14 year old with a rockstar sticker on his helmet just showed me up after i stomped a new trick for the first time. little fucker's voice hasn't even dropped yet"

"i can't decide between which of the 5 world class resorts on where to get a pass. no matter what i miss out on something"

"i tweaked my knee at a world class trampoline park in august, now i won't be ready for the season when it starts in october"

"the landing on that 'secret' backcountry kicker i built last night got blown up an hour before i even got to ride it in the morning"

"it snowed like crazy last night, do i hit urban or ski pow?"

and lastly "man my legs are exhausted from skiing pow everyday for the last week"

Out east you can get away with a jib set up with 2 inches of snow cause there is grass and muddy dirt.

Try doing that shit out west with 2inches of snow its not going to happen. There is no grass or dirt, just straight rocks and shale piles.

jumping through the little piles of untouched snow on the sides of the trail because they're "fresh tracks" and the best turns well see until we're old enough to move to utah

yeah keep going with the whole east coast skiers are better because the conditions are shitty thing... because all of the top players in the FWT and so on are all from the east coast... maybe a couple out of a ton more. get real, you don't learn to ski big mtn by skiing icy groomers albeit harder..

Yeah I go to school in Alabama. It's currently 97 degrees with 89% humidity. No snow in sight for at least 5 months. No urban. No pow. We closed school for 4 days last year for maybe 1" that melted that day. Closest resort is 7 hours away...

Where do all the best park skiers come from in the US? Most of them are from shitty east coast regions.

Everyone is complaining about Icey conditions it makes it obvious that u haven't skied in Australia, every bloody run or landing or half pipe wall is Icey stop complaining cos uve got it good.
