Trailing grabs seem to produce tricks that are more consistently steezy. Lead grabs can look cool too, but I think they are harder for most people to do a good job of. This is why cork 5 and rodeo 5 tend to have trailing safeties, but we all have mad love for a cork with an opp mute.
