Why snowboarders suck

Ok so I know this has been done a thousand times before, but not by me. You see I'm actually experienced and you should all listen to me because I skied over 100 days this season. (and last season as well) ALSO I DO BLACK DIAMONDS. So That being said, this thread is serious shit. I am here to tell you the reasons why snowboarding is super inferior to skiing. If it didn't affect skiers, I would say "to each his own" but sadly, snowboarders are retarded and they mess stuff up.

-Snowboarders can't get around in flats. Not "OH THEY DON'T HAVE POLES HUHUH" they can't skate or sidestep either.

-They have to strap in/out everytime they get on the lift. HINT to you snowboarders...your skier friends are getting super pissed that you take so long strapping and unstrapping. You better learn to do it while you're still moving

-They can't do bumps. I hate that moment when I'm skiing with a snowboarding friend and I wanna do bumps. I have to ski with them and watch as they violently twist their body trying to get around the moguls. How does it feel that you guys lose out on a good percentage of the runs just because you picked the inferior sport??

-They scrape all the good snow off. Nothing's worse than watching some idiot snowboarder scrape off all the good pow. Like the old saying goes... "There's two things that ruin good snow....Sun and fucking snowboarding assholes"

-They're always sitting on their butts in the middle of the run...Ok we all know this is true.

-Their shit bumps into your shit on the lift cuz you're always stuck sideways on a snowboard

-They're stuck sideways when they're snowboarding. Who thought this was a good idea?

-When snowboarders catch an edge, they either fall on their face or their butt resulting in violent, embarrassing wipeouts.

-They look like idiots when they're coming through the line. Trust me. I stand in line 35 hours a week and I know how stupid snowboarders look. It's so unnatural and dumb looking, watching them do that skating thing. With skies it's much smoother and natural.

So in conclusion, it's not that snowboarding is lame, or not fun, it's just that it sucks. The only reason for snowboarding is to try and look cool. Admit it, because this is the truth. Why else is it mostly popular with teenagers

Using my first post to say, fuck you bro. Do both, I like a snowboards maneuverability in the woods and tight steeps. Skis are fun to rail on and send huge floaty airs.

See the problem you have here is not snowboarders in general. Just the snowboarders you happen to ride with. Literally none of these problems you have listed have I ever witnessed in my life.

1) Most snowboarders can 'alien walk' its like a bunch of butters to get themselves moving and it looks pretty sweet actually

2) If the snowboarder you are with isn't retarded, it may take them a maximum of ~20 seconds to put their bindings on. If you can't wait for that, then you are the one with a problem.

3) Skilled snowboaders don't "violently twist their bodies through MOGULS.. (not 'bumps') in fact they bomb right over them gapping from mogul to mogul. Its pretty incredible.

I'll try not to make your post look bad any more, you probably get the point from that. All in all, ride with better snowboarders you hardcore Black Diamond Machine.

Skiers are just really annoying when they fall and their shit goes everywhere on the slope and gets in the way on runs, jumps, landings, ect. Also they think that they can conquer the world when they click into their fucking skis. You're not impressing anyone!

Skiers also can't ride Park for shit. 95% of them just get in the way and do 2" air off the side of jibs.

First off Mister 100day pin , I live in Aspen and I have been a snowboarder for a long time and Second season on skis . There are set backs to both sports , I have blasted through mogul fields plenty of times faster than the skier next to me maintaining my edge navigating through the moguls and jump turning though them just fine along with plenty of other boarders . So don’t think that half of the people on here don’t know your full of it . Yes it’s harder to do on a snowboard yes it’s harder to make it look more natural but that board is plenty feasible as long as it has forward momentum on the downhill . Don’t want to end up in a flat spot? Ride something steeper… skating the board forward is definitely a little bit of a setback but worth it , not a dealbreaker for anyone at all. I have seen plenty of skiers do stupid 💩 , endless deer in the headlights situations in both sports so dont even . Also in the powder sure skiing is a blast but get on a snowboard and try to convince me that a pair of skis are more navigable through the powder (many skiiers agree) . Both sports have their ups and downs but both are equally great . Dont ever listen to people like this , any body with a superiority complex like that steer clear . All they will do is gravitate towards negativity and judgment toward others which is also happening in the snowboard world unfortunately. Just remember this guy has his head up his own 🍑. Do whatever you want just remember person downhill of you always has right of way , and while traveling dh always look uphill before traversing across slope to avoid collision . Dont stop in blind spots behind nells and Don’t hug the shoulders too much around blind corners because you may get taken out by a mtn ops snowmobile. Most importantly mind your own business and don’t be a 🍆 ! Cheers
