they look like a sweet ski. if i did bc that much, i would probably pick soem up

The JP vs. Julien is sick everywhere. Don't let it's size fool you, it can charge hard all over the mountain. The ski is very light, and very soft. I've slid rails on it, and I've seen one of my riders throw 270's onto rails with them. The extra tail lets you ski switch comfortably on any terrain.

you'll be fine, especially if you center mount them or close to center. 191 is not that much differnt than 180. If sure spinning 270 is going to be a little more difficult but whatever....

you don't need to center mount them cause of the length, you can get a lot of tail and still have a little more nose.

I just reserved my pair from Get Boards. Apparently, nobody in the country has them yet because they just finished production on them in the UK a week or two ago. That's the story i get from all of the shops I talk to.
I am SO stoked to ride mine at Alta...

i got a pair in at my shop the other day wednesday i think they are pretty sick i almost bought them but decided i had too many pairs of skis already but you can order them online or stop in.

holy shit.....holy shit!!!!!! I just picked up a pair 2day.....havent skied on them yet, but owning the ar5 and owed the arv i can tell u this.......
softer in tip and tail....very much sooo
hard as a teen on viagra in the center
VERY PHUCKIN PHAT SKI!!!!!!!! (almost 5in. tip and tail and over 4 in. in center)
tips little higher then seth pistols tails very higher!
switched to abs as opposed to ptex sidewalls (last years arv and this year 4frnt went with them and ptex doest have a good hold with the rest of the laminate....recalled my arv's cuz of this)
if you gots a park ski....GETTEM!!!!!!! i almost got another ski cuz i was a little timid cuz of the phatness of the ski......i thought about it (actually Brian @ seattle ski n bike mentioned it....thanx brian!!!!) and ....i have a park ski.....this IS THE POW SKI!!!!!! it has the tail of a spatula (volant.....mckonkey stylee) pattern kinda like the k2 maiden (hence ak doesnt have the HUGE tail) and well....with jp in the making of this ski design....its alot like his (and the 1st twin tip pow ski ever) pocket rocket. anyway....with my other park ski in hand, im very impressed with this ski for the pow dayz and here in washington on a december.....it would be nice to be able to use the f'ing stick!!!!!

yea they really are flexy, u can also see it in tanner seg in wski, off that cliff when he cork 7s, they flex all over the place.

i was at armada this afternoon to pick some stuff up and had a chance to talk to hans about these skis. apparently, they realized that the flexiness would be a problem, so they beefed the core up (so it's essentially not the same core that they said they'd be using), so they're a little heavier than before, but you sort of trade that off with strength. definately going to be a good ski.

i got the last pair of 04/05's from jibij a few weeks ago...glad i got these cuz i think i'll like them better than the new ones.

anyway, sick ski everywhere...soft tips and tails, but the rigidity torsionally and underfoot helps the ski to remain very stable. i originally mounted at the suggested mount point, which is just back from center, but have since decided to move them back 1 or 2 cm, just to make life a bit easier in the pow. swing weight won't be a problem as these sticks are super light. at the suggest mount, i just found the tips were diving a bit too much in deep snow and the extra tail was tossing me around in crud. i think with the slight change they'll be perfect for everything!

i'll post an update as soon as i have skied with the new mount position

bottom line: if you have a chance to grab a pair...DO IT! you could have these as your only ski and be really happy!
