Alright, so I was on a bike ride through St. Paul today hunting for some urban rails and I found this gem. A line of small DFDs and a nice mellow down rail. Only problem is that there are grind stopped on them that were most likely put there by the park because skateboarders and bladers kept hitting kids on the playground by accident. In the wintertime there probably won't be any kids on the playground so I got the thought in my head that I should break out a hacksaw/crowbar. Then I also go the thought in my mind that that is VANDALISM. I'm kind of in a pickle here.
I'd hate to cut the stoppers because that is a pretty serious crime if caught, as well as representing freeskiers as criminals. Maybe i could talk to the workers at the park about maybe unscrewing them for a day and putting them back in place when I'm done, i took a close look at the stoppers and they can be removed with a special drill bit.
If you have any experience with dealing with these metal plates of satan, please share them. Also, here is the picture of the small dub kink line, and the down rail.
