I've just got an iphone 5s which shoots pretty bloody good video at 720 120fps but it's pretty zoomed in.
I shoot mainly on a d5200, 1080 30p and edit at 720 24p and conform the 30fps footage to that. what do people think of mounting the iphone to the hotshoe of the camera and shooting follow cams with both, and using the cropped video for really slow motion?
I'd take Jon Olsson over T-Swift anyday...... Jon would be amazing in the sack. - NickyP
I don't know about on a glide cam, but if you held it REALLY steady (too many people fuck this up, so if it's not perfect, don't continue), or threw it just on a tripod for some static slo mo's you could probably get some good variety compared to your other stuff. Also, twixtor really loves static shots with uncomplicated backgrounds (especially not moving, hence the tripod), so you might be good with that. Maybe bump this when you drop an edit so we can see your results? Actually pretty interested because the video on the 5s is very impressive, and I'm curious to see its role in ski edit (or anything sports edit related for that matter).
