Hey just picked up a set of secondhand skis that have never been used and only mounted once with some FKS 140s. They were apparently mounted once for 300mm BSL and my Nordica Double Sixes are 305 BSL so I really hoping I wouldn't have to do a remount.
The FKS adjustment arms have three knurled markers to indicate the adjustment range. You are supposed to stay in between the two outer limits. The bindings were originally set up at the middle indicator (for 300 BSL).
Problem: I can get my boots in if I adjust it right to the limit of the third marking but I can only get my boots to lock in if I help the dildo up with my hand, I can't step in because the boots hit the adjuster arms. I'm concerned I will still have the problem if I remount because I'm still in the range. Also concerned a remount of only 5mm more will put me too close to the current holes
Anybody have experience with Nordica Double Sixes using FKS bindings? Attached a pic and put a yellow circle where the boots hit.
