Whats the biggest you've ever gone?

One day, drunk and rich, I said fuck it and strait aired a 60ft step down at Carinthia.......and just about shat my pants mid-air. No way did I land it. After failing in the air for what felt like forever I cleared the knuckle by about 6 inches and double ejected head over heels. To this day its the biggest Ive ever gone and probably ever will go.

Last day of the season last year I was sending 180's as big as I could off of about a 40 footer. The landing on this thing was awesome, it was pretty much impossible to overshoot. On about my second to last run I realized I may have pushed my boundaries a little too far and blasted off the lip way faster than I was comfortable with. I popped off a little backseat but still managed to grab safety, and after rolling down the windows a couple times, I was barely able to hang onto the landing. Not quite sure exactly how far I went, but I remember seeing the knuckle come and go pretty fast while I was still in the air.

High north camp...2000. There was a 70 footer with a cheese wedge take off. I went about 68.5 feet to flat and exloded over the knuckle. Like Charles...." I thought I was going to dead"

Slushy day, everything fine, speed dialed for this 20 foot step down. Next day, park is groomed and snow is hella fast. I take the speed from the slushy day forgetting that the snow is two to three times faster and literally go past the big air Dave zone. #byebyeknees

50 foot jump is the biggest i hit and didn't clear it by much. Maybe went 55. But the biggest would have to be this 20 footer that me and some bitch ass snowboarder decided to bomb the hill and skate into. Went way bigger then the 55 from the other jump. That was a bad idea. so idk 70? After knee surgery you start to ski way smarter!

Did a 2-stage cliff about 30ft into 40ft (in my videos), and did a first hit backflip on a booter in the backcountry where the sweet spot was around 40ft and I went about 80ft. Had Salomon Quest 14's at the time and I shattered the heels of the boots. Could literally poke my liners through the hole in the back.

Did some crappy cliff spotting from the lift at Snowbird.  Made it out to the upper cirque traverse and dropped in on the wrong one.  Thought I was going for a 30 footer ended up being probably 60 plus!  I put on a great show for the people on the lift as I left my equipment scattered over a couple hundred feet of vert under the lift.  It took me no shit an hour to track down most of my stuff.  Thought I lost a ski for a while...No injuries other than pride!  Get a spotter!

Whiteface new years 2006. The first table was in the flats at the bottom of a big headwall. Like many times it was icy as hell. Was there with some of the kids I worked at gore with. They wanted to scope it out, I thought that was a stupid idea. Also hadn't even hit a jump yet that season.


Straight lined into it. No way I was going to case first jump of the season. When I was peaking in height I was passing the knuckle. Had a nice grab tweaked out. Ditch that and started windmilling and screaming. Got a solid 4 or 5 good windmills in before I landed on legitimate flat ground and exploded. Tried to get up and away from ski patrol/ park crew. Collapsed and was kidnapped by patrol.

Oh well. Better luck next time'd

I hit the fourth jump in the ally which is a step down and about 25 ft long.  The snow was VERY fast and I shot all the way down to the flat.

I went like really really really big on this gap we'd built over a river, it was like a 70ft table, you had to go like huge to make it over of you'd be landing in this freezing cold ravine where you'd probably die of hypothermia before you could swim out. I made it across fine and did a nosebutter quad cork 2340 which I stomped. Unfortunately we only had one filmer and when I landed he started jumping around which caused an avalanche which pulled him into the river, where he drifted away. Miraculously he survived and we found him on a rock twenty minutes later downstream but he had lost the camera and I was really angry with him until he died and turned into a zombie and we had to run away. He chased us back to our house where we jammed his head in the microwave, turned it on, and ran away. He exploded, ruining our kitchen but at least we survived. True story.

Tried to float a nice safety 3 over the last jump in the king's crown the only day I've ever been to PC. The jump is impossible to overshoot, and I didn't, but I went way too big, got super front seat after rolling down the windows for a few seconds, over-rotated slightly, and landed pretty deep and just ate shit everywhere. It hurt but everyone else on the trip thought I was the ultimate badass for even trying it and the legend lived on in my high school for the remainder of the time I was there (this happened sophomore year) so it was totally worth it and I would do the same thing again without hesitating.

haha worst shin bang of my life! The landing wasn't quite as soft or steep as it looked from the bottom. And despite getting way backseat, I tried to ride it out when I should have just gone to my back.

If I hit it again, I'll probably send it into the channel like most people do. Its not quite as big but there is better tranny.

PC had a really big jump set up at the end of their park about 6 or 7 years ago. Had to have been close to 100 ft. My buddy and I were there for the week and did it up properly big by hitting it with our Michael Jordan/Larry Bird jerseys on, while spread eagling and high fiving in the air. Got a pretty sick photo out of it. I felt like I was flying for a couple of seconds, it was a rather large boooter

It was rad and this is my story.

Went HUGE on the last jump in parklane landed right before the flat, bruised 2 vertebrae, and a minor contusion, scars ya pretty bad though when you overshoot a jump though, i think about it everytime i go to hit a jump.

I was hitting a pretty big A-Frame box, and trying to gap the back down part and tranny find on the end. Went WAY too big and probably fell 10 or 15 feet to flat ice, but managed to ride it out. Bruised the top of my fibula pretty bad but was otherwise okay.

The other time that comes to mind involved me hitting a jump line at my local park. For some reason the last jump had a shorter gap than the jump before it, and I came in really hot (normally this park has speed issues). I watched the tranny drop out from under me and knew I was in trouble. Came down pretty hard and smashed my knee into my face.

closing day the only jump left in the park was the big jump and i wanted to see how big I could go off the knoll before it. I landed on the takeoff of the following jump, double ejected, and went off the jump on my back landing on the knuckle.

Did the gnarliest spread eagle at giants ridge a few years back and overshot a jump by probably a good 10-20 feet and faceplanted another 10. Shit was fun.

I ate my knees real good one time when I decided that I would try to go from the take off of one roller on a ski cross course to the landing of the next. I knuckled out and kneed my face real hard but somehow acted like nothing happened.
