Critique a quick trailer?

Hey guys, been a while since I've been through here so give me a break if embed fails etc. I am in the process of planning a year long filming project while I am in school and put together a short pitch/reel video to have on hand in trying to get some sponsorship form local businesses and such to pay for trips etc. this year for the crew.

Nothing out of the ordinary, except when I used to create promo videos it was for myself or another athlete, and not for an entire film project.

The ski shots are a season or 2 old but the rest of it is fresh. Rip it apart boys.

the last shot of action had a really abrupt transition into the words at the end

what up jay looks pretty solid man im definatley gonna ask you about this next time i see you. i'd say i think it flips a little too fast towards the end, you dont get a very good look at the individual shots. also i agree with what buddy above said about the text coming out a bit abruptly at the end. you could do something a bit smoother like fade to black then have it show up or something along those lines

hmmm... noticed two of my shots in there from an edit I made this summer. I know I gave Auzzy permission to use them in the Noahs Ark movie but I would have appreciated/expected a heads up about this Jay.

Sorry Brent I had no idea! They were just the sickest of the shots he passed on to me haha. I will replace them asap. Thanks for the heads up.

dont bother changing the trailer now, I'm cool with you using those ones. Just make sure you know where clips are coming from if you haven't filmed them yourself. Can get sketch sometimes.

This tease is just going to be used by the athletes and I to try and promote the film to shops, artists, athletes, and potential sponsors. I think its more professional to use what we rightfully own haha.

Im assumin it is the last cork 7 and what other shot? I plan on revising this a few times before using it anywhere so I can replace them on the next version.

ps HUGE congrats on getting yourself in freshtival this year. You boys deserve it. I missed out on tix and live ways away now but would have been super stoked to check it out and celebrate with you guys.
