A few questions about grabs:
1) when doing crosses, my skis always end up pointing slightly up, I can't seem to tweak it back so I can grab my tail
2) When crossing, i am also having a few problems crossing the ski enough, it looks kinda gay if it only a bit crossed
3) apart from crosses (which i do a lot of) what other grabs look good?
If your doing a tail, here's what I do:
Bring your skis up behind you like your almost doing an old skool backscratcher. Then cross the skis. Bring your favored hand around and tweak even more.
That dream where you're falling, that's fun to me...
bring your legs up to meet your hand and reach for it and tweak that shit.
my personal favourite non-crossed grab would be the japan air. it is fun to do, fairly easy and looks cool.
I am not dong the grabs because I am getting a thrill out of touching my ski-JP Auclair
Ski Instructer: It is SO wrong to hit someone over the head with your pole
Some Kid: But you hit me over the head with your pole!
Ski Instructer: I was just demonstrating how wrong it is.
japans are definitly one of the easiest grabs and so easy to tweak try that some time
cross at the boot and tweak the cross then try and grab it.
Aussie + snow + vegimite = unstopable freeskier
I like mutes, just reach over with ur left hand and grab ur right ski and tweak!
