How much are used fulltilts running for?

Im selling my 2013 dropkicks because I hate them and they arent as good as everyone says. I need money to get some good boots so I was just wondering how much they run for when used. I bought them 3 weeks befoer the season from force so they are in great condition. the soles are perfect ( i hate walking on pavement) and the only damage is the toungue as some small marks from doing mutes. I dont have any pics but from that, would u say i could sell them for 200-230?

You could probably get like $230-$250 for them because most shops are selling them for around $300 brand new. I just picked up a pair like you described for $220

i went to a bootfitter. one of the ones who first picked up FT's as a freestyle boot out in Waterville actually. He was amazing so im not sure why my feet always hurt in them

u guys can think what you want but ive talked to a ton of bootfitters who actually saw me and none of them had ever heard of it. they all said it is physically nothing wrong with the fit. all of them are reputable and real bootfitters. stop acting like you know what your talking about.

this thread isnt to shit on bootfitters

yah full tilts suck for the first 3-5 days in them, then they become amazing.

my whole foot that is inside the liner of the boot is in fiery pain. not a certain spot, the whole boot, it doesnt matter how tight or loose I strap them, its the same feeling, they arent too small or big or anything like that, it just hurts. Its really weird its like there is a decisive break between where my foot hurts and where its has no pain, that line is right on the top of the liner. the only thing I could think of is maybe being allergic to the liner material?

if your bootfitter told you this is the boot for you, and you still have problems, the store should take them back. that's how the shop i used to work for did it.

also, if they can't figure out the problem they're not the greatest fitter in the world. if you're talking full foot pain your feet probably aren't being supported properly. when this happens your metatarsals (bones in your forefoot) are collapsing; most likely putting presure on blood vessels and nerves thus giving you pain. if you are properly supported you shouldn't have this issue.

What foot beds did you get? Sounds like a nerve issue but could be a circulation issue. How quickly after you  take the boots off do your feet feel ok again. Is it fairly instant or can it last a while?

I have some very expensive custom footbeds that are amazing, so its not that, and the bootfitter wasnt my regular one because I was competing at another mountain and I needed boots, I didnt want to buy them, but no other boots fit. He did an amazing job of fixing all the problems that I have had wit other boots so he didnt suck at bootfitting, and it takes about 15-20 minutes for my feet to feel better after I take them off

Ok so its a nerve issue.

What brand of footbed are they?

Also does it start all over the foot or grow from one place into the whole foot.

Were they made by a ski boot fitter. They are not a ski  oot footbed so im guessing maybe they were made like a normal shoe ortotic. My my experience that does not always work well, as they allow too much movement. My guess would be your foot is pronating, streching your lateral side, putting pressure on the saphenous nerve and possible the spn and dpn nerves.

they were not made by a bootfitter, but I havent had a problem with any other boots that I tried. Its only the fulltilts

Presumably then other boots you had gave room to allow the foot to pronate and not cause pressure. The narrow fit of the ft could just be too much when your foot I pronating.

possibly, I am looking at some 100mm width nordicas now, but I did use some Rossignol race boots that had a prime fit, I guess the more even pressure on top of my foot was more effective on making the pronate

Have you heat molded them?
My 2013 dropkicks were incredibly uncomfortable when I first got them and I didn't understand why everyone hyped up Full tilts. I wore them around the house to try and "break them in" but they were still painful.
Once I heat molded them at my local shop, that changed everything. They're now insanely comfortable and by far the best boots I've ever ridden. Full tilts for life man

How wide is your forefoot? Drop Kicks are an older shell style and are a bit tighter in the forefoot than the new shell style. As well, have you tried punching out any parts of the boot or done any grinding to give you a tiny bit more volume. Lastly, how heavy are you, is the boot to stiff for you? Are you getting shin pain/a line of pain across your shin?

my forefoot is super skinny. I used to ski in race boots so thats not it. I punched out any uncomfortable areas because grinding on that shell would weaken it too much, and i can flex the boots to the floor at 130, so its not too stiff, actually way too soft for my liking too
