Smoking weed before a comp?

Pretty much title ^ from everything I've heard it sounds like it really brings down anxiety but will it fuck with me at all and bring my skill down any first hand experience let me know.

Henrik dosnt smoke he is on the Olympic team, when he came to my home mountain we smoked Phil and bpaul out with a couple blunts but Henni wouldn't join.

Don't smoke. If you take like a shot or two, depending on your tolerance, not enough to get you buzzed or anything. You'll feel a lot more calm and you wont be scared to throw down

skiing and smoking hits everyone a little differently. Do you typically smoke while your having a park day and progressing? If you don't I would say don't risk fucking up your run, but if thats how you roll on your average day absolutely go for it.

i find if you smoke often while skiing it just makes it a bit more enjoyable. not that skiing sober isnt fun either but if you having a rough day or shitty weather its safe to smoke some bomb shit and think of some new lines or tricks

I think skiing baked helps me focus and relax and takes away any anxiety and fear... Smoking a little before a comp is great but only if u have smoked skiing before and are comfortable with it

tbh i think its stupid that people cant make a thread regarding weed without getting flamed for that exact shit you said there.

its not like thats the reason he made the thread , or hes trying to be cool or anything. I mean, we ALL smoke weed, so why can't we talk about it like normal fucking people without everyone getting mad at OP for that reason. in my eyes its more immature to flame people for mentioning weed, than to make a thread about weed.

If you are guna be just hitting the park with buds then smoke/drink it up. but you want to bring your A game to throw down in the comps. When I smoke I may have style but I am sloppy and inconsistent. also powder days are the best to get fuckin blazed in my opinion
