I agree completley. Why do they have to ruin every amazing movie with a sequel that will never be as good.

Same with anchorman 2. I'm excited to see it, but i am fairly confident that they wont be able to be as funny as the 1st one

i have a bad feeling it's going to be a total flop where they just try too hard to force humor that's been overplayed a million times since, but i'd leave that up to the writers. i think whatever happens jim carrey and jeff daniels will be pretty hilarious. i just hope there's the same kind of subtle yet ridiculous humor as there was in the first. to me that's the best kind of humor. the shit that you almost miss cause it's at a time that's not really funny, but the right comment catches you off guard and makes you crack up.

Jeff aged way more than Jim Carrey did. The 1994 is a fucking American classic. After watching this, I doubt I will be reciting/spinning off even half of the humor that was available in the first. But respect to both of them for setting out to make this second one, as little effort as it probably took and cost them, they did it anyway
