The job outlook for my major is terrible. At a seminar the other day I listened to some employers and they were giving statistics of 800-1 job applicants to jobs. I may switch majors to something more broad.

You mean less broad maybe?? If you were in something more specific, it would be clear where to work. A major like business is so broad that you aren't worth shit...

I'm in a two year electrical tech program (very specific) and the job industry for telecommunications and bio-tech is booming...

Yeah I see what your saying. My major is pretty specific though, it's recreation, parks & liesure. I'm debating on a geology degree now but I must seek counsel first if I act on it.

Would still be more broad. Say he was something like family studies or dance he would have many less positions he could apply that skill set to. As a business major, the skill set is broad and that is why they can do so many things. Not to mention if you can an emphasis in Accounting or Finance you have so many more technical skills that can be applied to the business world...Bottom line business is in everything, I wouldn't say it's: "worth shit".

Going accounting or finance is more specific than business. Skill set broad but not too heavy in one specific area. Plus business being one of the most popular majors, my statement stands...

I got a degree in Ski Resort Managment. It was useless at first, but now it is turning out to be helpful. However, lot of my friends with the same degree are not so happy with the decision.

Starting to see super good result in my recovery from being run over during a motocross race a couple weeks ago, but everything still hurts like a bitch.

Also, been talking to a girl for a while, but every time I make plans to hangout something happens. She plays soccer so she doesn't have a lot of time but every time we're going to something comes up. I got in my wreck, then last week we were gonna hang out and she was in the hospital for a possible ankle fracture from soccer, then she'll make excuses about not having time and it will piss me off and I wont talk to her for a day and then she'll text me and I'll give in again.
If she doesn't go to the Partly Cloudy premiere with me this weekend then I'm over her. Too much effort on my side for not having anything.

i'm sad because it's starting to get cold outside but not cold enough to dress up for winter. It's that shitty time inbetween summer and winter the scientists call 'fall' but it sucks. It's cold, it's foggy but theres no snow. Fuck fall. My birthday is even in september, which is the only (sortof) the only upside, but september/october sucks. Fuck september and october.

Just got a job with a very well respected investment services company in downtown Kansas City, that will allow me to use my degree and advance my career and make my business minded dad happy.....

But now I cant go back to Colorado and be a lifty at Keystone again. Sad day.

Breaking Bad ends for good a week from Sunday and it's been stressing me out since season 5 started. It's so shitty to have something so epic come to an end, especially when you've gotten to know the story and its characters so well.
